ASIA: Man on child sex charges facing extradition in weeks

JAKARTA, Feb 27 AAP - A South Australian man arrested in Indonesia could be extradited
to Australia within weeks to face child sex charges, Indonesian authorities say.
The 66-year-old was arrested by Jakarta police a week ago following a request from
Australian authorities, a police source said.
He is being detained in Jakarta police station but is receiving consular assistance
from the Australian Embassy.
